Hamlets Cafe Bar was added to The Blue Haven Collection in 2006, formerly The Hole in the Wall, a pub that has been renowned, for almost as many years as The Blue Haven, was renamed, redecorated and re-branded, Hamlets Café Bar, it offers a wide and exciting variety of food and beverage and is widely known as a Kinsale hot spot for great casual food and live music.

“Food Glorious Food” That is just one of our mottos in Hamlets Café Bar and there is nothing better than to enjoy a lunch cooked by expert hands and served to you with a smile, so come and join us for the carvery in Hamlets Café Bar, lunchtime has never been so enjoyable. The Carvery has a delicious selection of main courses with fabulous extra options on offer, children’s portions are available too! We have fun entertainment for the children and kids movies showing in the VIP lounge Sunday afternoons.

Enjoy any evening with a fabulous pizza from our evening pizza menu, orders are taken from 3pm every night, you can dine al fresco in our heated tikki huts or inside in casual comfort. We have also introduced an al la carte evening menu for that extra choice!

Hamlets offer a wide selection of live bands and resident DJs on a regular basis, The incredible Tribute Band Us2 and the Sons of Steve McQueen are just a few of the bands that play regularly through the year, we are constantly striving to bring new acts to our customers, The Kylie Minogue Experience and Azzurro, we love to participate in all music festivals through the year, particularly The Kinsale Fringe Jazz Festival every October, where we offer great international acts and top Irish musicians all day and all night, throughout the long weekend.

Great Events @ Hamlets Café Bar
Hamlets Café Bar together with The Blue Haven, have held some fabulous  large events, namely Vegas Baby and Vegas Baby 2, a charity casino night and more recently the Kinsale Annual Black and White Night, with a capacity for 500 cocktail style we can offer you an event to beat all events.
Our summer barbeques are particularly successful and we enjoy continual repeat business from our happy customers.
